Principal Network Engineer needed for a multinational defence engineering organisation based in London who are looking to employ an experienced and Principal Network Engineer that takes pride in their work with an in-depth knowledge of network design, configuration and testing network environments.
The successful candidate would desirably have a relevant degree - i.e. Computer Science, Software Engineering or Computing etc.
What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Principal Network Engineer will include:
- Installation and configuration of a complex network architecture to ensure the network meets its availability and performance requirements
- Support and maintain the availability of the network sub-system
- Resolve and implement solutions to Observations raised on the network sub-system
What experience you need to be the successful Principal Network Engineer:
- Experience of working in a network development role
- Skills including the use of: Switches, Routers, Hubs, Servers, Cables, LAN, WAN and TCP/IP
- Network Management & monitoring systems experience
