Procurement Manager needed to join a Full-Fibre Broadband Provider based in London. Our client is looking for forward thinking, enthusiastic individuals to join the team. You will need to be keen to learn, adaptable and excited to be part of our fast-growing organisation.

What the Procurement Manager role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Procurement Manager will include:

  • Prepare a strategy of procurement to alleviate the shortage and the quality of equipment
  • Identify the key suppliers and select the best price ratio
  • Good understanding of the technical requirements and working with key internal stakeholders
  • Researching the marketplace to locate products, services and suppliers whilst advising the company on best practice and opportunity
  • Maintaining an inventory of existing products and services, ensuring that information is accurate, readily available and up to date
  • Resolving supplier or contract queries
  • Monitor and drive SLA adherence to ensure products and services perform as intended
  • Managing existing suppliers and contracts to ensure run rate costs are regularly assessed and reduced to ensure a competitive cost base across selected categories

Fleet Management

  • Responsible for Company Vehicle procurement and ensuring that the right option is i.e. buy versus lease options
  • Management of Company Vehicle contracts to ensure delivering on SLAs
  • Management of fuel cards and issuing of new cards to employees
  • Ordering Company Vehicles and end of contract management
  • Management of Insurance and maintenance contracts
  • Ensuring that all company vehicles are serviced and insured at the appropriate periods

What experience you need to be the successful Procurement Manager:

  • Proven procurement experience within the tech industry, ideally ISPs, telecommunications
  • Fleet Management experience
  • The ability to combine professional project management and procurement skills on large scale projects
  • Excellent business acumen, cost driven
  • Proven supplier management expertise
  • Strong negotiator, thinks strategically and is commercially driven
  • Ideally Accredited by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
