Procurement Business Partner/Manager
As a procurement manager, you will be joining an inclusive and supportive environment involved in a wide variety of projects ranging from Robotics, Materials Testing, Facilities Management, Construction, and Research & Development. There has never been a more exciting time to join my client due to the rapid growth we are experiencing as an organisation and consequently the procurement department!
Key areas of responsibility will include:
-Managing the contractual progress of projects
-Creation of bespoke terms and conditions for key projects
-Assisting with creation through to implementation of procurement strategies for the site
-Responsible for pre-qualifying contractors and subsequent interviewing tenderers, assessing tenders and negotiation of contracts as required
-Providing commercial advice to line and senior management
-Ensuring compliance to Public Contract Regulations 2015.

Knowledge, skills and experience
Essential:
-Experience and working knowledge of public sector contract regulations (ideally OJEU)
-Demonstrable experience of reviewing and creating bespoke procurement terms and conditions (ideally NEC)
-CIPS qualified
-Procurement strategic knowledge and experience.
-Ability to negotiate at the highest levels with suppliers
-Commercially astute and customer focused
-Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence at senior levels
Desirable:
-Knowledge and working practice of OJEU
-NEC form of contract
-MCIPS Qualified
