Product Owner
Farnborough - Remote working, 2-3 days onsite per month
£70,000 - £75,000 + 12.5% bonus + £510 per month car allowance
Brief
Product Owner needed for a leading defence & security organisation based in the Farnborough area who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Product Owner that takes pride in their work.
This role is currently offering remote working, with an onsite presence required 2-3 times per month.
What the role of the Product Owner entails:
Some of the main duties of the Product Owner will include:
- Acts as technical product owner/champion for the Enterprise Service Platform (Data Integration Hub) product set and managed services
- Act as the ESP technical SME, ensuring the user needs and integration functionality is fit for purpose
- Support the Third Party Provider team evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement robust data integration solutions
- Prioritizing initiatives and ensuring ESP solutions meet business needs and requirements
- Acts as a liaison between key business stakeholders, users and the Third Party Provider
- Supports and holds to account the Third Party Provider ESP managed service
- Develops new strategies to maintain or improve on the quality of the ESP service delivery
- Supports the development of strategies to minimize ESP service delivery costs
- Leads and creates organisation policy and procedures that ensures integrity and security of the ESP platform
What experience you need to be the successful Product Owner:
- Strong understanding of WebMethods and Egateway or similar products
- In-depth grasp of the data management
- Understanding of product development life cycle of software
- Sound understanding of AGILE / SCRUM in practice
- A thorough understanding of the data integration concepts, tools and techniques
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in Data Integration and Stakeholder Management
