Project Manager/Engineer needed for a leading construction and utilities company based in the Wakefield area who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Project Manager/Engineer that takes pride in their work with a strong electrical background.

What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Project Manager/Engineer:
- Manage and co-ordinate directly employed and subcontractor resources in with respect to the delivery of planned 'Upgrade' works.
- Reviewing workstream packages including Risk Assessments and Method statements and advising on their suitability.
- To facilitate service Isolations in support of Upgrade works. This includes the preparation and issuing of SSoW documentation including Permits to Work and Isolation certificates.
- Attend regular meetings and Liaise with Stakeholders to enable upgrade works to proceed as programmed.
- Provide guidance to others on site, showing technical expertise in the Mechanical and Electrical systems, to ensure appropriate and compliant solutions and efficient customer service delivery.
- Support the wider Technical Services and the Operations teams as required to support the FM service delivery.
- Support the Technical Operations Team Manager and Technical Compliance.
- Planning and prioritising work within recognised safe systems and in accordance with all aspects of health and safety legislation at all times.
- Participate in a team working approach to the allocation of duties, supporting, and working effectively with colleagues to provide good working relationships within the service.
- Undertake any training as identified through the performance review process continually seeking improvement and developing best practice.
- Undertake other reasonable duties (with competence and experience) as requested, in accordance with changing organisational directives.
- Assist the Site team with day to day running of the project.
- Adhere to all requirements set by SHEQ team, policy, and strategy.
- Understand and meet ongoing customer requirements, develop effective working relationships with business partners, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
- Ensure you are fully aware of your health and safety responsibilities in accordance with statutory, NHS/Trust guidelines and the Company's Behavioural Safety initiatives.
- Ensure all work activities comply with statutory, NHS, Trust, and Company guidelines as well as the latest HTM and HBN guidelines.

What experience you need to be the successful Project Manager/Engineer:
- Time served, ONC in technical field or at least 5 years Management / Supervisory experience.
- Experience within a healthcare setting is desirable.
- Demonstrable & varied experience in delivering FM Projects and Facilities Management.
- Experience of delivering in challenging environments as an acute healthcare facility.
- Current AP appointments including LV & MGPS.
- Qualified to BS 2391 18th Edition Electrical standards.
- Knowledge of relevant SSoW, including Healthcare HTM06-02 electrical safety.
- Good working knowledge of relevant standards and guidance including healthcare guidance such as HTM's and HBN's.
