We are working with one of the UK's top residential developers and an opportunity has arisen to join their growing team in Berkshire. This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking a role that includes job security with a growing pipeline of work alongside the support of an experienced leadership team and no limits on career progression.
As the Project Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for overseeing the commercial management of a number of housing projects across Berkshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. You'll be working closely with the Commercial Director and a site based team, managing the costs on each project from start to finish. You'll be required to host regular progress meetings with the site operational teams, reporting figures to senior management, assisting junior surveyors with the development of their own careers and offering commercial advice and guidance where required.
If this sounds of interest then you'll need to have some previous experience working for a large residential developer alongside excellent communication skills and a 'can do' mentality. You'll also need to be commercially astute, capable of thinking outside of the box and confident when working with different site teams, suppliers and subcontractors. Previous experience using COINS will be an advantage.
