I have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor on a large infrastructure framework covering projects in Berkshire. Based from their offices in Slough, you'll be given the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of civil engineering projects valued between £10m and £20m.
The successful candidate will need to have a relevant degree - i.e. Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management or Construction Project Management and have a keen interest in working to work on large, challenging civil engineering projects for clients including Highways England.

As the Quantity Surveyor, some of your main duties will include:
- Providing commercial advice to the project team
- Sub contract management
- Contract negotiations
- Value engineering
- Processing applications for payments
- Preparation of CVR's
- Supporting junior surveyors
The successful Quantity Surveyor will need to be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas:
- 3+ years experience for a main contractor with civil engineering experience
- Large (£10m+) project experience
- First class communication skills
