An opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor has arisen with a large main contractor delivering a number of projects for Network Rail across London and the South West. The Quantity Surveyor will be joining an experienced team and working on a variety of project including new stations, buildings and telecommunications through to line electrification, signalling & track work.

On offer is an opportunity to join one of the leading contractors within rail infrastructure on a secured pipeline of work valued at nearly £1.5bn. The successful Quantity Surveyor can also expect a competitive salary & package that includes:

Some of the Quantity Surveyors key duties will include:

• Subcontract management
• Contract management
• Change control
• Providing commercial advice to project teams
• Working closely with the client (Network Rail)
• Assisting with the development of junior surveyors

Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need to have:

• At least 2 years experience in either rail or civil engineering & infrastructure projects
• An HND, HNC, Degree or similar within a relevant subject
• Excellent communication skills
• Happy travelling between locations in London & the South West
