Quantity Surveyor

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading cost & project management consultancy in Central London. The Commercial Manager will be joining their growing infrastructure team and working closely with a number of key clients including London Gatwick, London Heathrow and London City Airports, delivering both landside and airside upgrades.

Some of the Quantity Surveyor's core duties will include:

• Providing accurate cost and commercial management advice and reporting
• Supporting the client with the successful delivery of projects & commissions
• Ensuring there is an effective line of communication between all stakeholders and the client
• Delivering all services and work outputs a timely manner whilst ensuring quality standards are met
• Providing commercial support to the wider project teams
• Negotiating and liaising between all parties involved with the project
• Representing the consultancy in a professional manner
• Supporting other surveyors on the team, assisting with the development of their careers and, where possible, acting as a mentor

Quantity Surveyors considering applying for this opportunity will need to have:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or another relevant subject
• Already achieved or working towards membership of a professional body
• A minimum of 5 years experience within the infrastructure sectors. Candidates with previous aviation experience will be at an advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• A 'can-do' attitude
