Quantity Surveyor - Water Framework
Chatham, Kent
£45,000 to £55,000 + package
I'm working with a leading infrastructure contractor who are delivering a major capital works framework for a busy, well regarded main contractor. With secured long-term work across the region, they're now looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support project delivery across their water infrastructure programme in Kent.
As Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual aspects of a range of projects under the AMP capital delivery programme. Based from the Chatham office, you'll support the wider commercial team with:
- Subcontract procurement and management
- Cost reporting, forecasting and CVRs
- Managing change and risk
- Ensuring compliance with NEC contracts
- Supporting the Commercial Manager with monthly reporting and client liaison
What They're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor working for a main contractor
- Exposure to water or utilities frameworks (AMP experience desirable)
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts
- Good commercial acumen and confident client communication skills
- Ideally degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
