The Role:
- Assist in defining the technical direction within assigned scope
- Estimate time and duration required for individual tasks
- Contribute to project scheduling and align personal work with project plans
- Provide data for project reports
- Maintain configuration management tools and structures
- Participate in progress meetings and reviews as needed
- Supervise the transfer of configuration documents to the Customer
- Support multiple Change Control Boards and assist in preparing review and end item data packages
- Register and track classified data in compliance with EIA649C regulations and Configuration Management best practices
- Process secret and secure documents both internally and externally
- Manage configuration of documentation and oversee company documentation review and archiving
Experience Required:
- Proficient in executing Configuration Engineering tasks across multiple applications and projects.
- Familiarity with the Configuration Management lifecycle.
- Prior experience in the defence sector is desirable.
- Understanding of configuration control standards, change management principles, and fundamentals.
- Skilled in producing configuration control documentation using MS Office, along with proficiency in relevant configuration control software.
- Advantageous to have knowledge of Windchill/PDM systems and/or IFS/ERP/MRP systems.
- Capability to acquire and uphold Controlled Goods Program and suitable security clearance through Public Services and Procurement Canada's Contract Security Program, including NATO Clearance.
