Senior Fibre Design Coordinator needed to join a well-established full fibre broadband provider in London. The successful candidate will join at a time of significant expansion as they currently roll out 10 Gbps FTTP networks.

As a Senior Fibre Design Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate delivery and efficient designs to the build teams and managing changes required throughout the plan and build lifecycle. The Senior Fibre Design Coordinator will work closely with all departments across the business to ensure data accuracy and integrity so that we build a best-in-class network.

What the Senior Fibre Design Coordinator position entails:

Some of the main duties of the Senior Fibre Design Coordinator role:

• Supporting both the Design Manager and the team to ensure the designs are safe and clean.
• Responsible for leading technical discussions with other stakeholders around the business.
• Use the Network Architecture to guide and explain to Design Partners why we design our networks this way.
• Present FTTP solutions to the Design Manager & relevant stakeholders as part of regular review meetings.
• Engage with Field Project Managers to actively seek feedback with continuous improvement in mind.

What experience you need to be the successful Senior Fibre Design Coordinator:

• Experience of working in/designing around the Openreach network and a strong knowledge of PIA.
• Experience of FTTP networks & Survey processes.
• Understanding of different FTTP Network Architecture
• PIA product knowledge.
• Knowledge and experience using QGIS or other similar GIS platforms to design fibre networks (e.g., Qfield / ArcGis)
