An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join a leading main contractor on a major infrastructure scheme based in Northampton. The Senior Planning Engineer join a major player in the construction industry, an organization with a long history delivering key infrastructure schemes across the UK.
The Senior Planning Engineer will be site based on a flagship highways scheme valued in excess of £300m. They will play a key role in the successful delivery of the project - they will be responsible for developing, updating and managing the construction programme in Primavera P6 to support on time delivery. They will work closely with the Project Director and ensure the construction programme is communicated effectively to the site team.
This is an exception opportunity for a talented Senior Planning Engineer with a track record of planning major civils projects to join an award winning main contractor whose specialst highways division boasts a very strong order book.
Candidate
- Demonstrate a solid track record delivering major civils projects
- Derive from a UK main contractor
- Advanced Primavera P6 skills
- Strong working knowledge of NEC form of contract
- Hold a construction related qualification - HND / HNC / Degree
- Excellent communication skills
- TILOS experience would be a distinct advantage
