Title: Senior Planning Engineer
Location: Coventry
Rate: £500-575 per day (outside of IR35)
Duration: 12-18 months
A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planning Engineer to join the civil engineering division of a leading name in UK main contracting on a recently won project based in Coventry.
The Senior Planning Engineer will be site based on an exciting infrastructure scheme which is valued circa £80m, a large earthworks and infrastructure project.
The Senior Planning Engineer will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the project. They will work closely with the Project Director and be responsible for overseeing the construction programme and ensuring it is communicated to the site team.
Duties
- Creating, updating, and monitoring detailed project schedules.
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather project data and information.
- Identifying critical path activities and potential delays, and proposing solutions.
- Communicating progress and issues to project teams and senior management.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Supporting the project team in achieving project milestones and deadlines.
Candidate
- Hold a construction related qualification - HNC / HND / Degree
- Proven experience as a Planning Engineer in civil engineering projects.
- Proficiency in scheduling software - Asta Powerproject
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with construction industry regulations and best practices.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
On offer is a day rate of between £500-575 per day (outside of IR35) for 12-18 months.
