A great opportunity exists for a Senior Planning Engineer to join a leading main contractor based in Central London. They will join a growing team part of an organisation that has exciting and aggressive expansion plans for the next 5 years. They are an infrastructure specialist who are looking for talented individuals to join them on their journey.
The Senior Planning Engineer will work within their regional team and be responsible for the full life cycle of projects from tender phase through to completion.
The Senior Planning Engineer will be involved on projects valued up to £30m which include cabling, construction and refurbishment of substations and switch houses for some of their key clients. The role will be split between the office and various sites across London.
Duties will include progress reporting, entitlement programmes and narratives, recovery plans, dashboard reports using Primavera P6 planning software.
The Senior Planning Engineer will have experience of working on projects at ideally both the tender and contract stages. They don't necessarily need to have experience of working on utilities projects but will need to have the open mindedness to learn. What is important is a thorough knowledge of engineering whether it be civil, mechanical or electrical and also NEC contract experience along with advanced Primavera P6 skills.
On offer is a competitive salary of between £65-75,000 per annum plus an attractive benefits package including car or car allowance, pension, healthcare, private medical, life assurance, travel expenses, 33 days holidays and other benefits.
