An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join a leading main contractor on a contract to permanent basis.
The Senior Planning Engineer will join the team on a major national framework where they are responsible for delivering a number of exciting projects across the UK which are valued between £20-100m. These projects typically include warehouse and logistics hubs for both online and high street names.
The Senior Planning Engineer will be responsible for playing a key role in the successful delivery of these projects by working closely with the Project Manager and ensuring the construction programme is communicated effectively to the site team. They will split their working week between sites in London, Midlands and the North East, they will provide some flexibility to work from home a couple of days a week.
On offer is a long term contract of 6 months plus with a competitive day rate of between £350-450 per day. There is also the potential for the opportunity to turn into a permanent role after this period.
Candidate
- Solid main contracting background
- Strong Asta Powerproject experience
- Previous experience delivering large warehouse projects or large steel frame buildings
- Good understanding of construction process and techniques
- Excellent communication skills
