Epsom, Surrey
Hybrid Working - 2 days pw in the office

Project Manager needed for a leading organisation based in Epsom, Surrey, who are looking to employ an experienced Project Manager for management of a Project Stream and multiple projects and initiatives within it, with an in-depth knowledge of structured project management, Agile & waterfall, senior stakeholder management and working in a regulated environment. Financial Services experience advantageous.

The project manager can an expect the following salary:

* Salary: to c£70,000 - £80,000 per annum

Some of the main duties of the Project Manager will include:

* Management of a Project Stream and multiple projects and initiatives within it
* Ownership of allocated projects with full responsibility for delivering to the parameters outlined in the Business Case
* Managing external supplier engagements and relationships, including overview of the Project Stream
* Engaging with the business and IT to ensure the effective running of cross-functional teams
* Responsible for resourcing planning
* Responsible for creating and maintaining a detailed project plan including dependencies, resourcing, controls and milestones
* Ensuring projects are delivered to the agreed quality standards to minimise rework cost and achieve defined project timescales
* Management of stakeholders in terms of expectations, agreed scope, timescales, project costs, project invoicing, project resource management
* Weekly reporting on project status, risks, issues, milestones and project budget
* Management of project risks, change requests and issues throughout the project life cycle
* Management of relationships & resources with internal departments such as Business Analysis, Solutions Architects, Infrastructure teams, Cyber Security, Finance, Marketing, Customer Journey, Customer Services and Legal teams
* Chairing Project stream steering meetings that include numerous members of the executive committee
* Working closely with the Programme Director to align reporting, project status, escalate issues and risks
* Ensuring smooth transition to service for every project

In order to be the successful Project Manager and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally need to have the following:

* Significant Project Management experience
* Extensive experience of managing complex projects
* Experience of use both agile and waterfall delivery techniques and knowing what to apply when
* Previous experience working in a regulated environment
* Extensive experience of using a structured project management approach e.g. PMP, Prince2 or equivalent
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
* Leadership of multiple, multi-disciplined teams delivering solutions across a variety of platforms
* Seen by clients and prospects as having a can-do delivery focus
