Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Chelmsford, Essex

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor working within the water, energy, transportation and telecommunications sectors in the UK. The Senior Quantity Surveyors first project will be the refurbishment of a gas distribution facility in Chelmsford where your role will be to support the onsite Assistant QS with the day to day commercial management of the project including procurement, change management and building on the relationship with the client.
Senior Quantity Surveyor's considering this opportunity will need excellent negotiation and communication skills, a solid understanding of the NEC3 suite of contracts, good cost reporting skills, experience within change management and a logical way of thinking.
