Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Rate: £450 per day / OUTSIDE IR35
Location: Remote (with travel)

We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a busy and growing main contractor that provides sustainable heating and cooling through district heating schemes to clients across the UK. The role is offered on a remote basis, outside IR35 and for an initial period of around 6 months.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be working with the Commercial Manager and overseeing the commercial management of a number of projects for both commercial and residential clients across the UK. Some of the Senior Quantity Surveyors key duties will include:

• Cost management & budget control
• Subcontract procurement and management including leading the procurement process for subcontractors, assessing applications for payment, variations and final accounts.
• Prepare and submit interim valuations to the client
• Secure timely and accurate payments, managing cash flow on each project
• Identify, asses and manage variations and changes
• Administer the main contract ensuring compliance with terms (JCT/NEC)

Senior Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need an understanding of civil engineering, or specifically, district heating works and be happy to travel to sites across the UK 1-2 times a month (all expenses paid).
