Title: Senior Risk Manager

Salary: £85,000 or £500 per day
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Risk Manager to join a market-leading independent consultancy with a strong track record in delivering complex, mission-critical projects across infrastructure, energy, and defence sectors. The Senior Risk Manager will join a new team on an exciting project in Barrow-in-Furness.
The Senior Risk Manager will take ownership of the project's risk management processes, overseeing risk identification, assessment, analysis, and mitigation strategies. Working closely with the wider Project Controls team, they will help integrate risk management with scheduling, cost control, and change management processes, ensuring a cohesive and proactive approach to project delivery.
The Senior Risk Manager will be based remotely with visits to the site in Cumbria when required.
Candidate
- Proven experience in a Senior Risk Management role on major infrastructure, engineering, or construction projects.
- Strong QRA capability with demonstrable experience in delivering both cost and schedule quantitative risk analysis.
- Familiarity with industry risk tools such as @Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis, or Safran Risk.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills - confident leading workshops and presenting to senior project leadership.
- Ideally holding a relevant professional qualification (e.g. IRM, APM Risk Certificate) or working towards one.
