Service Engineer / Customer Support Engineer - On-Site in Paris, France

We are looking for a Service Engineer / Customer Support Engineer to join a leading partner in providing high-value laboratory equipment services at one of our major pharmaceutical client sites in Paris.

This role is focused on delivering a comprehensive on-site instrument support service, covering maintenance, qualification, diagnostics, training, and technical consultation across a range of cutting-edge laboratory instruments.

What You'll Do:
As a key member of the on-site technical team, you will:

  • Plan and manage your activity to ensure timely interventions, providing clear visibility to management and clients.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and qualify laboratory instruments in strict compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Execute software and hardware updates, as well as preventive and corrective maintenance protocols.
  • Optimize spare parts management and maintain meticulous records of all interventions.
  • Deliver technical training to colleagues and client staff, sharing your expertise on multi-brand laboratory instruments.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor, proposing equipment, consumables, and service improvements to enhance client operations.


Your Profile:

  • Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Electronics, or equivalent (Bac+2 to Bac+5).
  • Experience with laboratory instruments such as HPLC/UPLC, GC, centrifuges, dissolution systems, temperature & humidity measurement devices.
  • Hands-on experience in maintenance, diagnostics, and calibration of laboratory instruments.
  • Comfortable with digital tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, etc.).
  • Strong organization, autonomy, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional level of English & French.
  • Team player with a passion for training, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
