Site Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Site Engineer to join a leading main contractor on a project in Worcester. The Site Engineer will quickly become an integral part of the site based team ensuring the smooth delivery of the project as per agreed specification.

Some of the Site Engineers main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting site surveys and setting out reference points for construction activities
• Ensure that all works are being carried out in accordance with the approved designs and specifications
• Collaborate with the Project Managers, Architects and stakeholders to understand the project requirements
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the site teams
• Monitor and report on the progress of construction activities and addressing any potential issues that may arise
• Ensure the quality of workmanship and materials used on-site are compliant and meet industry standards
• Provide technical support tot he project team

In return, the successful Site Engineer will be offered a generous salary & package that includes:

• Starting salary of £35,000 to £42,000
• Car allowance
• 25 days annual leave
• Contributory pension

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on large-scale construction projects
• Competent in the use of surveying software and instruments
• Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies, materials and regulations
• Strong problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
