The Role:
So, what will you be doing as a Site Supervisor?
- Supervise day-to-day operations of Highway Projects, overseeing local transport schemes and major highway improvement works.
- Support the Project Leads and Professional Services' teams in scheme delivery.
- Manage workload to achieve project objectives within agreed timeframes and budgets.
- Maintain detailed site records and facilitate contract management activities.
- Coordinate onsite testing and material acceptance in compliance with project specifications.
- Assist in project reporting and attend progress meetings.
- Collaborate with the design team during pre-construction phases.
- Engage in early contractor involvement and subcontractor management.
- Uphold quality management procedures and promote our Clinet's values.
What are we looking for in our next Site Supervisor?
- HND/C level qualification; degree preferred.
- Proven experience in the Civil and Build industry.
- CSCS and SMSTS certification.
- Familiarity with NEC3/NEC4 contracts; JCT contract experience desirable.
- Strong initiative and ability to work autonomously.
- Understanding of DMRB and Specification for Highway Works.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and project delivery regulations.
- Commercial awareness and experience in a multi-disciplinary design environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a commitment to upholding client's values.
