We are searching for an experienced Solar Electrician to join our growing Operations and Maintenance team!
You will become part of a leading energy company and be responsible for O&M tasks across rooftop and ground mounted Solar PV Systems!
Job: Solar Electrician
Salary: £40,000 Per Annum
Location: Midlands
Type: Permanent / Monday - Friday (37 hours)

Solar Electrician Responsibilities:
- Performing O&M tasks such as troubleshooting, fault-finding, inspections, and maintenance on ground-mounted and rooftop Solar PV systems
- Overseeing and managing relationships with contractors onsite
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety protocols consistently
- Support Solar PV installs as necessary.
- Generating task reports
- Travel required.
Solar Electrician Requirements:
Obtain relevant electrical engineering qualifications such as:
- NVQ Level 3
- 18th Edition
- 2391 Inspection & Testing (Training can be provided)
- JIB Gold Card (Desired)
- UK Driving Licence
Proven experience in the following:
- Solar PV installations or maintenance
- Operations and Maintenance of renewable or electrical systems
- High voltage experience (desired)
