SQL Database Administrator
Sittingbourne
Term: 6 months
Day Rate: £350 to £400 per day
Currently looking for a SQL Database Administrator to work for a leading online packaging company, based in Sittingbourne, Kent.
Some of the general specification and requirements of the SQL Database Administrator will include:
- Strong Transact-SQL
- Extensive Microsoft SQL Server administration to 2016
- SSRS
- SSIS
- Experience using a BI Tools
- PowerShell Scripting
- .NET
- ITSM Experience
Main Tasks/ Responsibilities of the SQL Database Administrator will include:
- Maintain the SQL databases and relevant reports for the Compliance KPI toolset
- Review of all reports and remediation of any issues identified
- Review of all reports and code improvements for performance improvements
- Providing assistance and support to colleagues in relation to databases
- Development of new reports to assist the local IT in monitoring their compliance
- Development of PowerShell Scripts to enable automation of some the IT Compliance tasks
- Development and upkeep of documentation and procedures in relation to the management of the database reporting tool
