An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Strategic Planning Manager to join the growing planning department of an award winning main contractor. They will join major name in the UK construction industry who have an enviable reputation for their expertise in delivering complex construction projects.
The Strategic Planning Manager will work closely with the Planning Director and be responsible for monitoring, upholding and championing the planning, project constructions and times management functions across the business.
This is a key role with the planning department, the Strategic Planning Manager will be tasked with performing audits on the high risk and major projects across the company's different business units.
As this is a group wide role there will be some travel involved (not extensive) to various live projects across the UK and Europe. With this is mind the Strategic Planning Manager will split their working week between remote working or local regional office and meeting with site teams across the UK.
The success candidate will be an expert in construction planning, an individual with a breadth of experience of projects across construction and major refurbishments. It is essential they have a solid UK main contracting background and a solid understanding of the construction industry.
