The Role:
So, what will you be doing as a Supply Chain Project Manager?
- Lead all supply chain activities within the Ship Repair Programme, providing bid support, strategic development, and operational performance management.
- Manage the project life cycle, ensuring supply chain outputs are met and addressing tactical issues as they arise.
- Act as the main point of contact for project-related contract management and procurement issues.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, protecting the commercial interests of the company.
- Develop strategies to manage supply chain status, performance, and critical issues within a shared project management structure.
- Report project performance, budget, and risks as required.
What are we looking for in our next Supply Chain Project Manager?
- Experienced Programme Manager and leader with SCM experience demonstrable working within major complex programmes.
- Ability to provide leadership, capability, and processes to deliver project, functional or business unit objectives.
- Logical, analytical approach to pragmatic and effective problem resolution, being solutions focused.
- Excellent communication, presentation skills and stakeholder management at all levels
- PMP / Prince 2 and or Degree in Engineering would be desirable but very open to experience.
