Supply Chain Specialist
Location: Bristol
Duration: 6 Months Contract initially
Brief
Supply Chain Specialist needed for a respected and highly reputable Aerospace organisation based in Bristol. Supply Chain Specialist will have the responsibility to develop and deliver the contracted deliverable, (CDRL D033) Supply Support Strategy on behalf of the Supply Chain Team.
What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Supply Chain Specialist will include:
- Create a report/playbook to deliver the output as required in the customer CDRL including agreeing general format expectation with the customer and coordination through the CDRL review and approval release process.
- Work with the team to understand project charters and outputs for each supply support strategy area and workshop outputs held to date
- To undertake an audit and assessment of activities to date, and highlight any key areas missing or requiring further in depth assessment in comparison to the Solution Design Description Document
- Create initial draft for internal review
- Validate write up with workstream leads
- Customer walk through and document release review and approval process
- Address comments and concerns from customer
What experience you need to be the successful Supply Chain Specialist:
- UK MOD Security Clearance is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly motivated, flexible and adaptable approach to work. Ability to work individually, and as part of a team.
- Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines.
- An eye for detail, and a thorough and methodical approach.
