Description:
Are you a System Safety Engineer with experience in the UK defence sector? We are seeking an ambitious and self-motivated individual to join our growing, reputable company and deliver specialist consultancy services.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with clients and senior team members to provide expert system safety services.
- Conduct independent safety audits and offer guidance under expert supervision.
- Contribute to proposal development and estimate generation for straightforward client needs.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Manage projects effectively to ensure client satisfaction and foster repeat business.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering system safety assurance, including crafting Safety Management Plans, Safety Case Reports, Hazard Logs, and Legislative Compliance Assessments.
- Familiarity with eCassandra, Reliability Workbench, and ASCE tools is a significant advantage.
- Proven experience in one or more of the following domains: Defence (Air, Land, Sea, Ordnance, Munitions & Explosives, Nuclear), Rail, or Civil Nuclear.
- Previous consultancy experience is highly desirable.

- Confident and articulate communicator, able to effectively present information both verbally and in written reports.
- Highly organized and self-directed, capable of working independently, adhering to budgets, meeting deadlines, and adapting to shifting priorities.
- Ambitious and driven with a proactive approach to daily tasks.
Additional Information:
- Travel may be required to support clients, with a flexible approach to accommodate both employee and client needs.
- Pre-employment screening and successful completion of UK National Security Vetting are mandatory.
