Test Automation Engineer needed for a highly reputable and leading Defence organisation based in Gloucester who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Test Automation Engineer that takes pride in their work with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Test Automation Engineer will include:

You will be responsible for performing a range of integration and test engineering tasks across the development life cycle, but with a strong focus on defining and developing the test automation framework while ensuring test compliance standards are met by the application of appropriate processes and procedures.

What experience you need to be a successful Test Automation Engineer:

• Experience with the evaluation of products at high Technology Readiness Level (TRL) capability
• Experience in estimating and planning own work
• High standard of Ethics and personal accountability
• Familiar with developing automated tests in a widely used language, e.g. Java, Python, C
• Familiar with automation test tools and environments, e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Robot, Cucumber, Gherkin

Desirable Experience:

• Experience in an Agile Development
• Military Integration
• Liaising with clients and development team members to elaborate requirements and technical solutions
