Vehicle Installation Manager / Training Manager - FITAS
Flexible working location - ideally commutable to Northampton and surrounding

My successful Network Services client currently has a fantastic opportunity for a FITAS Accredited Manager or Supervisor, with vast knowledge and experience of installing vehicle electronic systems to FCS 1362 / Emergency Services standards in commercial and civilian vehicles, to provide training to engineers to the relevant standards. Including:
- FCS 1362
- IMI Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- MDAM Vehicle Hardware
- Airwave, TETRA, PMR, Cellular, Wi-fi Systems and technologies
- CCTV
Your role will involve setting up a training centre and producing and delivering FITAS / FCS 1362 training materials and methods for the business. You will be an expert within the field, producing step by step training material and videos, providing hands on training in the classroom and will carry out tests and observations to ensure competency.
The successful Vehicle Installation Manager / Training Manager will have a passion and enthusiasm to pass on expertise and knowledge built up over the years, for training and coaching engineers.
Requirements:
- Strong presentation skills
- FCS 1362 / FITAS accredited
- Excellent planning, organisation and relationship building skills
- Experience with the above vehicle installation standards on emergency services vehicles.
