An experienced Assembly Operative is required to play a key role in the manufacturing of high precision products from detailed engineering drawings for the Aerospace industry.

The Role:

So, what will you be doing as an Assembly Operative?

• Manufacture a variety of sub-assemblies using appropriate tooling and processes
• Setup tooling such as presses, drills, special to type tooling etc in accordance with controlled documentation
• Ensure that all build documentation is completed in accordance with company procedures
• Maintain training records in accordance with company procedure as evidence of work carried out

What are we looking for in our next Assembly Operative?

• Educated in a recognized apprenticeship or Engineering discipline
• Have experience in an Aerospace or defence manufacturing environment
• Have previous experience in mechanical assembly - pneumatics highly desirable
• Have the ability to read from engineering drawings
• Have a good level of numeracy and literacy
• Motivated, disciplined and enthusiastic
• Ability to work with fellow team members in a respectful and courteous manner
• Willingness to learn and be trained to the necessary standards
• Have perfect colour vision - actual importance dependent upon specific role
