Brief

We are seeking a Civils Supervisor to join a well-established, integrated highways service provider who operate across London and the South East. As a Civils Supervisor you will be responsible for the supervision of all associated civils works.

It is desirable for the successful candidate to have a relevant Degree in Civil Engineering, or another relevant discipline, and have a keen interest in being a Civils Supervisor. If you have previous experience as a Civils Supervisor that would be a plus!

Role Responsibilities

Some of the main duties of the Civils Supervisor will include:

• Supervision of all associated civils works for telecoms infrastructure in the public highway including:

1. Excavation
2. Duct
3. Cabinet & new Chamber Installation
4. Backfill & Re-Instatement.

• Co-ordinating teams of both directly employed and subcontract labour.
• Ensure that operational and financial targets and deadlines are met.
• Ensure that the works and services are implemented in accordance with the contract requirements.

What experience you need to be the successful Civils Supervisor:

• Educated to Degree level in Civil Engineering (or another relevant discipline)
• Highways Background
• NRSWA
• SSSTS or SMSTS Supervisors Qualification
• FTTP/FTTH
• Blown fibre network installation experience
• Ability to use initiative and make critical decisions under pressure
