£32,000 Base - OTE - £57,000


Field Sales Manager needed for a well-known Full Fibre Broadband organisation based in Edinburgh who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Field Sales Manager that takes pride in their work.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving and delivering their team's, and their own sales target by going door to door acquiring new customers within assigned territories throughout the South West of England. You will be working within a target-based environment and will be highly motivated to meet and exceed targets.

We are looking for a team leader that can work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. This is a player manager role, keeping your hands in the game is key to inspiring your team. You will gain your own sales and manage a team of field sales ambassadors by providing effective guidance. You will be responsible for your own individual target, coaching, managing, motivating team members daily.

As a team leader, you will be the main contact point for all your team members, so your communication skills should be excellent.

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Field Sales Manager will include:

  • Be responsible and accountable for meeting targets and deadlines ensuring daily/monthly/ quarterly targets are met and exceeded.
  • Door-to-door selling into assigned territories.
  • Create an inspiring team environment with a successful, fun, and open culture.
  • Travel throughout the territory to motivate the team, conduct field coaching to identify training needs and provide accurate feedback, and support new starters.
  • Set rhythms and deliver clear team goals daily/monthly/quarterly.
  • Ensure the teams headcount remains at the optimum to deliver target.
  • Ensure the Lead Management Tool /CRM is updated efficiently and timeously.
  • Monitor team performance and report on KPI's.
  • Keep abreast of developments within JFL and be able to communicate clearly and confidentially to ambassadors and customers.
  • Oversee day-to-day operation of your team.
  • Listen to team members' feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
  • Recognise high performance and reward accomplishments.

What experience you need to be the successful Field Sales Manager:

  • Excellent sales ability with the desire to close on the day
  • Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor
  • Must hold a full UK driving license
  • Energetic and outgoing, with the ability to work on your own and within a team
  • The ability to learn quickly and adapt to change well
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), computer literate and tech savvy
  • Flexibility to work on a Saturday to support the business if required
  • Able to absorb industry knowledge and training material quickly
  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
