FTTX Engineer/ Fiber Optics Engineer - Utrecht
Working within the Connectivity department you are responsible for the operational management of passive telecoms infrastructure. Examples include fiber optic cables, copper cables, manipulation points, customer cabinets and customer connections / services.
Provide standardized products & services and ensure their maintenance (management). In addition, it provides knowledge and operational capacity for innovation (projects), non-standard products and services.
Primary responsibilities:
Assessing changes
Answering requests
Drawing up requirements for the passive telecom infrastructure
Monitoring and improving the quality of the passive telecom infrastructure
Managing and supporting the ITA before and during activities
Management of the registration and implementation system Cocon - Training provided
Job requirements:
You can independently engineer fiber optic infrastructure and connections and monitor the quality.
To be able to perform this function properly, you should also bring the following:
Min. completed MBO4 training
2 years+ experience as a Fiber Engineer;
Knowledge of Autocad.
Cocoon certificate is an advantage.
