The Role:
So, what will you be doing as a Graduate Electronics Technician?
- Six months of comprehensive training covering a cross-section of test aspects.
- Learning from experienced colleagues in four different manufacturing areas.
- Tuition in running a test, using test equipment, and fundamentals of video signals and interfaces.
- Hands-on testing under supervision, gradually progressing to diagnosing faults and potentially changing defective components.
- Utilizing electronic aids and interpreting specifications.
Upon successful completion of the training, you will transition into the role of a Test Technician, responsible for performing acceptance tests on our high-technology products, utilizing a variety of test equipment, and demonstrating the ability to diagnose faults within complex circuits.
What are we looking for in our next Graduate Electronics Technician?
- BTEC/NVQ Level 2 in Engineering/Electronics or equivalent (essential).
- Higher electronics qualification or experience in the electronics industry (advantageous).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
