I am looking to hire someone as the Head of Financial Advisory on behalf of a Sussex based FS firm.
The role will be responsible for guiding the firm's advice processes and partnering with various investment partners and reporting direct to the CEO and Board.
Duties will involve:
- To support advisers to ensure they provide clients with suitable advice outcomes.
- Maintain and develop the standards.
- Analyse and review existing procedures and make appropriate improvements in line with best practice and regulatory changes.
- Manage improvements to the Advice Process through the Investment and Advice Policy Committee.
- Sign off where advice is suitable and meets internal standard.
- Review and sign off of higher risk investment advice (VTTs / EIS / SEIS)
- Manage day to day enquiries and provide support for advisers regarding advice regulatory issues
Applicant Profile:
- It will be expected and required that applicants hold a formal education within Finance and also hold current relevant qualifications relating to Pension Transfers such as AF7.
On offer will be the opportunity to join a stable, secure, forward thinking business with a solid track record and history within financial services. The salary on offer is expected to be in the region of £55,000 - £70,000 plus benefits which include an annual bonus, health care, pension.
