Investment Analyst (Level 1 or 2), London

We are working with a fantastic global firm who are currently hiring an Analyst (level 1 or 2) to join their European Real Estate team evaluating potential investments across all industries on a Pan European basis.
As an experienced Analyst within their European Real Estate team you will be given a wide breadth of responsibility and the opportunity to significantly contribute to their investment decisions. You will see, and participate in all aspects of the investment process from early stage assessment through to execution and credit commitment, requiring interaction and approval from senior staff.
You will undertake fundamental company and industry research, including speaking with management teams, industry experts and in-house resources. You will be required to prepare financial analysis to understand project performance and valuations under a range of scenarios so, although not essential, experience in underwriting direct real estate asset investments from a debt or equity perspective will be an advantage. You will also prepare legal analysis (credit agreements, debt indentures etc.), as well as liaise with financial and legal advisors in structuring deals.
Candidate Profile:
- An excellent academic background within a relevant field.
- 12 months to 2 years experience, ideally gained from within an investment bank or private equity style business.
