Laboratory Service Technician - On-Site in Marcy-l'Étoile, France

The Role
We are seeking a Laboratory Service Technician to join a dedicated on-site team at one of our major pharmaceutical clients in Marcy-l'Étoile, France. In this role, you will provide expert technical support for laboratory equipment, ensuring that instruments used in production and R&D environments perform reliably and safely.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of laboratory instruments according to manufacturer specifications.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose multi-brand equipment issues with precision and professionalism.
- Carry out equipment qualification and adhere to protocols in line with regulatory requirements (GMP, FDA, etc.).
- Plan your work effectively to prioritize interventions and manage spare parts inventories.
- Promote and adhere to QHSE standards, maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
- Communicate clearly and proactively with clients, keeping them informed at every stage.
What We're Looking For
- Educational background: Bac+2 to Bac+5 in electronics, electrical engineering, automation, chemistry, biology, or biochemistry.
- Hands-on experience in preventive and/or corrective maintenance, ideally in a life sciences or pharmaceutical setting.
- Strong technical knowledge of laboratory equipment (MSP, fume hoods, chemical cabinets, centrifuges, isolators, incubators, dissolution systems, environmental monitoring instruments, etc.).
- Familiarity with automation, robotics, and electronics.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical quality standards (GMP, GLP, FDA, data integrity).
- Fluent in French and professional proficiency in English (spoken and written) and working knowledge of MS Office.
- Technical curiosity, team spirit, pedagogy, and excellent customer relations.
