Mechanical Technician needed for a leading aerospace organisation based in Hampshire who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Mechanical Technician with an in-depth knowledge of aircraft assembling and modification.
What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Mechanical Technician will include:
- Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
- Document procedures and established process to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g. repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results)
- Assemble, dissemble and/or modify systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
- Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
What experience you need to be the successful Mechanical Technician:
- Previous mechanical experience with aircraft
- Strong understanding in airworthiness requirements
- Ability to adhere to document procedures
- Previous troubleshooting experience
