Brief
Project Manager needed for a global engineering consultancy based in Bristol who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Project Manager that takes pride in their work.
The right candidate will be commercially and financially astute, with a challenging mindset. They will have excellent interpersonal skills and solid experience of project delivery within Defence.
The role will require working in a highly collaborative and complex delivery environment and proven experience within a heavy engineering, technical or system delivery environment would be essential. Experience in a customer facing role would be preferred.
What the role of the Project Manager entails:
Some of the main duties of the Project Manager will include:
- As a project manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end project management lifecycle using it to ensure your projects meet the needs of your clients and the needs of the client.
- You will be responsible for the delivery of our contracted work to time, cost and quality.
- You will have excellent analytical skills and a proven ability to solve problems creatively.
- You will be able to engage with a broad range of stakeholders, and possess the skills needed to consult with our clients
- You will uphold the highest standards of integrity and show a commitment to our Equality Diversity and Inclusion agenda
What experience you need to be the successful Project Manager:
- Implementation and use of project performance, monitoring and controls principles and approaches, ideally including EVM
- PMQ or PPQ (or equivalent) desirable
