Brief

Dealing with quality defects on the shop floor uplift products. This will include liaising with the Operations, Engineering and Manufacturing teams to understand the issue and help to resolve it by:

• Containing the problem to stop it getting any worse
• Quarantining the defective part such that it can't be used
• Resolving the issue with the defective part to either rework it or replace it
• Liaising with the wider team to ensure effective communication

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Quality Assurance Engineer will include:

• Dealing confidently with people from a range of backgrounds and technical ability in a high pressure environment
• Effective decision making and taking responsibility to see the issue through to resolution
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High level of IT skills with standard MS Office packages

What experience you need to be the successful Quality Assurance Engineer:

• Ideally a quality background although training will be given
• Knowledge of ISO9001
• Ideally knowledge of SAP Quality Notifications although training will be given
