An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planning Engineer with a background in mechanical and electrical engineering to join the specialist division of a leading £1bn turnover main contractor.
The Senior Planning Engineer will be involved on projects throughout their full life-cycle from tender stage through to completion. Reporting into the Director the Senior Planning Engineer will be responsible for producing competitive tender programmes and managing construction programmes for live projects in the local region.
CANDIDATE
- Hold an engineering related qualification - HND / HNC / Degree
- Experience working within main contractor / sub-contractor environment
- Proficient in the use of planning software package - Asta Powerproject / Primavera P6
- Tender and Contract planning experience would be beneficial
- Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering
- Excellent communication skills
