An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planning Engineer to join an award winning main contractor based in Cheshire. The Senior Planning Engineer will join a leading name in the UK construction market, a company with a reputation for their expertise in delivering a wide range of build projects for their private and public sector clients.
The Senior Planning Engineer will be provided with a varied workload, they will be involved on projects throughout their whole life-cycle, from tender stage through to completion. The projects cover a broad range of build sectors that include education, student accommodation, offices & commercial, mixed use development, hotels and healthcare which are typically valued between £10-60m.
This opportunity will suit either an experienced Senior Planner who has similar experience working within a main contracting environment who can hit the ground running or a Planning Engineer with a couple of years construction planning experience who wants to further develop their career.
Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience to be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years construction planning experience.
- Experience at both the tender and contract stages of projects.
- Proficient in the use of Asta Powerproject.
- Sound knowledge of construction techniques.
- Good working knowledge of different forms of contract.
- Team player
