Senior Portfolio Analyst/Manager, London

Salary £80,000 - £100,000 + Bonus, Ltip, Pension, Health Care, Life Assurance

We are actively looking to engage with Real Estate focused talent who have a high level of Excel modeling skills who perhaps enjoy and thrive within the reporting and portfolio management side.

Our client is hiring someone who will work across various teams within the business and it is essential that you have really good people skills and enjoy working with others and being part of a team.

We anticipate we are looking to speak with people with 5 - 7 years of experience, who are located in London, and are sitting within the real estate sector.

The role is a permanent position based in their Central London office.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring all portfolio management reporting workstreams, both regular and ad hoc, are completed to the highest possible standard.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills to work across all business functions and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, essentially providing a go-between across all departments/business functions, to ensure they have a complete understanding of all live matters across the whole portfolio.

A wide range of analytical and reporting skills are required, with key responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Partnering with the local asset management teams in each country market, internal finance team, investment team and coordinating with external property managers, leasing agents and valuers.
  • Ownership of the platform's portfolio model(s), to enable they can advise the board and client on the overall impact of potential decisions, including potential sales, leasing transactions, finance options etc.
  • Maintaining a record of critical dates and ensuring the wider team is aware of these in good time (eg leasing deadlines, covenant tests, reporting deadlines).
  • Assisting the finance team with asset or portfolio level business plan forecasting, budgeting, analysis and reporting.
  • Maintenance of centralised portfolio records from data supplied by the external property managers and valuers, as well as the in-house asset management team.
  • Timely and accurate measurement of agreed performance outputs from across the business.
  • Value add analysis and reporting on commercial lease proposals.
  • Ensuring financial and property systems are up to date with a continuous view to process improvement.
  • Analysis for and preparation of all data requests for quarterly external fund and bank valuations, alongside relevant members of the investment and asset management team.
  • Support the asset management and development teams on ESG reporting and analysis.
  • Preparation of responses to requests for ad hoc data, financial analysis, reporting and advice for external clients, as well as to support the wider business.
