Senior Lead Quality Assurance Analyst

Brief
This role acts as a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) representative for Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) within Systems Solutions. Based at Havant, Hampshire, the role supports and advises on all aspects of regulatory and 3rd party certifications associated with the presence on various sites. Activities include but not limited to:
- Quality Assurance oversight of the various programmes across.
- Quality Assurance across the CADMID cycle where required.
- Lead the Project Management of future Standards requirements and their implementation e.g. AS9100, ISO 44001, ISO 28001.
- Act as the lead QA representative for Risk Management aspects.
- Ability to Assess Business Change activities.
- Arranging, Planning and supporting audits from external (customer, regulatory and certification assessment) bodies.
- Engagement with external industry, Government and Military Quality Assurance staff.
The QA representative is responsible for ensuring that activities supporting the above are carried out in accordance with regulatory, statutory, company and local plans, processes and procedures.
The post holder is also required to provide QA oversight to the delegated signatory for equipment release should it be requested and would be required to undertake Root Cause investigation and process improvement activities, to drive improved performance. Supply chain monitoring and assessment, including subcontractor site audits, inspections, etc. in collaboration with other functions, will also be required.
What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Senior Lead Quality Assurance Analyst will include:
- Qualified AS9100 Lead auditor (preferred) or Qualified Lead Auditor in one of the following ISO9001, 2000, 27001 or TickITplus.
- A Project Management Qualification e.g. Prince 2, or other APM approved course.
- Familiarity with Agile development techniques.
- Root Cause Analysis qualification.
- Occurrence Investigator qualification.
- Experience estimating work loading and task management.
What experience you need to be the successful Senior Lead Quality Assurance Analyst:
- Qualification in engineering, design, or computer science (NVQ Level4/ONC or above).
- Experience/qualification in Risk Management.
- Experience/qualification in Business Change Management (BCM).
- Experience of UK MoD Maritime, Land and Air based programmes.
- Experience of UK MoD Military Aviation Authority (MAA) Regulatory Publications (MRPs).
- Experience of Allied Quality Assurance Publications (AQAPs) and Joint Service Publications (JSPs).
- Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt).
- Understanding of training systems (Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT)) or equivalent.
- Human Factors Training.
- Previous Military experience of benefit.
