Site Engineer - CONTRACT
£300-£350 per shift Outside IR35
Brief
We are seeking a Site Engineer to join a leading technology and lighting consultancy who deliver services in transportation and the built environment. As a Site Engineer you will be joining the team to support the upgrade of the motorway to a smart motorway.
It is desirable for the successful candidate to have a relevant Degree (NVQ, HNC/HND) in Civil Engineering, or another relevant discipline, and have a keen interest in being a Site Engineer. If you have previous commercial experience as a Site Engineer within the Highways that would be a plus!
Role Responsibilities
Some of the main duties of the Site Engineer will include:
- Raising permits
- Setting out
- Surveying
- Cat scanning
- Overseeing site
- Managing a team/sub-contractors
What experience you need to be the successful Site Engineer:
- Educated to Degree level in Civil Engineering (or another relevant discipline)
- SMSTS/SSSTS Supervisors Qualification
- Civil Engineering background
- Experience on the Highways/Motorways
- Safety Critical
