£55,000 - 70,000 per year + Bonus and generous benefits package.

This role is at the cutting edge of decarbonisation in sectors that are critical to national infrastructure, security and economy.

Due to significant growth and demand for climate consultancy services we are recruiting experienced Sustainability Consultants with significant knowledge and understanding of decarbonisation, climate adaptation, climate mitigation and climate resilience.

Requirements:

• A Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in an Environmental, Sustainability, Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and an ability to influence effectively.
• Strong numeracy skills.
• Experience of providing sustainability focused advice / consultancy (either as an in-house advisor / manager or as an external consultant) in one or more of the following:
  • Scope 1, 2 & 3 greenhouse gas emissions calculation, benchmarking, analysis and modelling.
  • Net Zero strategy development.
  • Assessment of climate related risk & opportunity (e.g., TCFD).
  • Organisational decarbonisation, with a specific focus on technology integration (physical & virtual), feasibility, and managing strategic risk.
  • Supply chain decarbonisation (calculation & reduction).

We are looking for Pro-active sustainability practitioners with hands on experience of helping organisations to decarbonise and adapt to our changing climate.

Successful candidates will support teams delivering projects across the Defence, Government, Energy, Transport, Industrial, Infrastructure & Healthcare sectors.
You will be expected to take a lead on the technical and commercial aspects of projects, ensuring delivery to time and budget. The development of new business will also form part of this role.
