Our client is looking for a Technical Services Manager to join our team based at a Healthcare facility in Glasgow on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus, and benefits package.
Technical Services Manager Description:
Reporting to the Account Manager, the Technical Services Manager (TSM) will lead all technical service delivery, compliance, client relationships, defect management, and additional works within a healthcare facility. This includes coordinating site operations to ensure adherence to company and local procedures, ensuring a standardized approach to our clients service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, direct, and motivate site team to maximize their potential.
- Manage service delivery to meet/exceed customer needs.
- Ensure maintenance (planned & reactive) aligns with budgetary, quality constraints, and agreed service levels.
- Enhance working relationships with key stakeholders and coordinate service activities across the site.
- Support the Account Manager in all aspects of contract delivery and growth.
- Develop staff with mandatory and best practice training.
- Produce monthly reports demonstrating service compliance and target achievement.
- Develop effective relationships with business partners, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
- Achieve required SLA/KPI targets.

Candidate Profile:
- Ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, sub-contractors, staff, and staff representatives.
- Proven technical background in electrical, mechanical, or building services, with healthcare environment exposure preferred.
- Qualified to HNC/HND level in an engineering discipline with a managerial track record.
- Experience in tendering contracts and selecting sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Ability to drive KPI and performance improvements.
- Line management experience of contracted and directly employed staff.
- Varied experience in delivering FM Projects and Facilities Management.
- Thorough understanding of contract management principles.
- Extensive health and safety knowledge.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining a PPM system.
