Currently looking for a Design Manager (Engineering) in our ground engineering and piling division. The Design Manager will lead on contract and tender designs, lead a team of estimators and liaise with approved design consultants to deliver geo-technical civil piling projects across the UK.
The Successful Design Manager will have:
- Significant experience in a design coordination/ design management role within the piling and/or ground engineering sector
- Management skills - confident managing staff, clients, figures, issues and programmes.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel.
- HND or Engineering Degree qualified
- Member of a recognised engineering institution. Incorporated Engineer or Chartered and or working towards membership.
- Support senior design managers, consultants and multi-discipline engineering teams to deliver the design solutions to schedule and budget to a high standard of professional competence

This role is a very hands on position, if you were to be considered you'd need be to happy to work alongside the engineers.
